Longing for my homeland (Cello)

The work “Longing for my homeland” is a two-part composition that describes the longing for a safe home base, a feeling that unfortunately does not appear to be self-evident in these times. Images of people fleeing violence, oppression, terror and war leave no one unmoved. Feelings of disbelief, sadness, anger and incomprehension take over. A safe and secure home seems further away than ever, the longing for it becomes all the stronger.

The work is dedicated to Human Rights Watch and all organizations that work for human rights on a daily basis.
