10 studies for braces (H-Euph)
€15.00
From secondary and/or higher grades onwards, students who play a brass instrument often wear a brace. The brass teacher is then forced to look for adapted repertoire within a specific tessitura. On the one hand, the teacher usually finds studies or works that are often too easy (lower grade level) and this can lead to demotivation in the student in question. On the other hand, difficult studies are often too high in pitch.
'10 Studies for Braces' is the solution. The book offers the student with braces challenging, varied, melodic, stylistic and rhythmic studies, adapted according to the student's range. Various studies use 'division' where the student can choose between a higher and lower melody line depending on feasibility. Naturally, these studies are also educational for students without braces.
Each study is preceded by preparatory exercises. These exercises highlight difficulties that the student can gradually master. In addition, each study is given an appropriate, often humorous title.
