A Mythical Journey – Odyssey (HA)
€79.00
After 10 years of war in Troy, the Greeks finally leave for home. The atmosphere is euphoric, the soldiers are happy to finally leave for home and captain Odysseus hopes for smooth sailing. The ship leaves the Trojan coast and sails out into the wide sea. (Part 1)
Unfortunately, a storm puts a stop to Odysseus' plans. A threatening storm hangs over the ship and drives the entire crew to the island of the Cyclops (part 2). Here Odysseus must face the giant Polyphemus.
Yet fate is favorable to him: Odysseus and his crew can sail again towards their homeland. The ship sails further across the sea and approaches the beautiful Sirens (part 3). They seduce everyone with their magically beautiful songs, but unfortunately every skipper crashes on the rocks when hearing their songs. Once again Odysseus outsmarts fate and his ship sails past without any problems.
In the fourth and final part, Odysseus reaches his home town of Ithaca after 10 years, where he tells his wife Penelope about his many adventures. Various themes from the work are presented one last time as a flashback. Odysseus and Penelope embrace each other: this is where the mythical travel adventure ends.
