On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the concert orchestra of the Free Technical Institute of Ypres, Jean-Luc Bertel wrote a military march for “De Kerels”. In 2018, conductor Peter Leroy was asked to compose a festive march for the 70th anniversary year. This work was donated by the VTI parent council. Festive melodies, a passage for drum band and a proud ending are the ingredients of this work.
