The performer rolls a die to determine the order of the eight different parts. He or she should do this in a theatrical manner and on the surface of the piano. He then puts the different parts in order and starts playing all the pieces one after the other. Maximum duration is approximately 10 minutes. If one decides to play a shorter version of the piece, one should keep in mind that number 3 always follows number 2 and 6 follows 5. It is also desirable to start and end with numbers 1 and 8 respectively. A possible short version can therefore be 1 7 5 6 8, without 4, 2 and 3.
