Ephraim (FA)

The Biblical name Ephraim is given to a person who has reached the age of 90. The work Efraïm is dedicated to 90-year-old Aimé Leroy, grandfather of composer Frederik Leroy, who is a musical example for his children, grandchildren and now also great-grandchildren. In addition to a reference to the number of years of life, the title name Ephraim also contains the anagram of 'Aimé' and 'Fre'(derik), the composer.
